At only about 11 inches long, this Little People aka Mini Native American style flute plays as beautifully as our larger flutes. Its design is inspired by stories of the “Little People” — the Yunwi Tsunsdi — told in Cherokee, Choctaw and other Native traditions. In these stories, the Little People are not children, but mystical beings, sometimes helpful and sometimes mischievous, who travel unseen and carry stories to the people.

Each flute is handcrafted from poplar wood with your choice of a natural or lightly burnt (mottled) finish. They are custom made to order, finished with our natural oil-and-wax blend, and include playing instructions.

These mini flutes are tuned near the key of High A (a bright, high pitch) and made from sustainable North American hardwood. Despite their small size, they produce a wonderfully playful, uplifting tone.
